Charmain is the mother of four children aged between 12 and 23. She lives in a small but pretty market town in Hampshire in the UK with the three younger children, and her partner Mike.

Charmain is also the bestselling author of the 'Vampire' series of books, 'In the Beginning', and 'Child of Destiny', and she recently started a new series of books called 'Mary Howard Supernatural Mysteries'. Charmain is currently writing the third book in the Vampire series, The Quest for Truth, which should be available for purchase at the end of July 2014. The next Mary Howard novel will be available in December 2014.
Charmain's lived an eventful life - married at seventeen, four children, and a successful garden nursery business, was followed by a difficult period in her personal life which caused a series of breakdowns. The breakdown of her marriage followed a few years later - combine this with health problems such as diabetes and cancer, and her life reads like a nightmare. However, although Charmain is the first to admit that she hasn't had an easy life, she says she does have plenty of life experience, and although at times difficult, she says she wouldn't change a single thing.
Thanks to the support of her parents, children, and her partner Mike, and her confidence due to her emerging writing career - Charmain now feels like her life is back on track. She hopes that 'Lipstick Magazine', will offer women advice, fun, and ultimately offer a little moment of escape from a stressful world.
