I was looking through my photographs yesterday and it struck me just how many times I have changed my hair colour, but I tend to stick to a classic way of dressing with the odd disastrous exception. So I got to wondering just how many of us are dedicated followers of fashion, and how many of us prefer a classic style of dressing?
I think hair color is also part of this, and I know I'm guilty of dying my hair colors that were in fashion, but probably didn't even suit me. Here are a few examples (cringe).
To be honest I think I have actually forgot my real hair color (I'm hoping it's not grey now lol). I'm thinking the closest to my natural hair color is the very last picture, in which I have very long hair, but if I'm honest I don't really know lol!
The picture below is how I look now (blonde plait), but once again I am contemplating changing my hair color. However, I never think about changing my hairstyle. These pics are taken over a span of about 10 years, and not once have I changed my fringe line or length of hair, the long hair is simply clip in extensions - and that is something that's changed. I use hair extensions now, but are they in use because of fashion or because I'm getting older? I hate to admit that it is probably the latter (cringe).
I hate to admit that I think that I am probably a classic person, as in - I wear fashionable clothes, but they are always of the same style. I am the same with my hair and I'm starting to wonder if I'm the same in normal life? I suspect that I am, and I wonder if that makes me boring? I'm not sure that it does, but I think it does make me predictable. I'm starting to wonder if this self pondering is going to make me depressed! Lol! All I can say is if you want to see if you're a classic person or a fashion victim take a look at some old pics and you'll find out, and you might not like the results (like me). You can then change your style, or maybe just sit on the fence and ponder... Just as I'm doing now... Umm.
